Augmented Reality (AR) based learning environment that will support science teachers' science learning and teaching processes and bring science labs to students’ tablets or mobile phones. Such AR-enriched simulations are needed to make science education reachable-attractive and continue active learning.
The main outputs of Augmented Science project are:
AR-Enriched Experiments and Simulations
Web-based Active Learning System (WALS)
Science Course Content-Scenario-Enriched Activities e-Book
AR-enhanced science e-book aims to support distance learning, covering common secondary school topics, engaging content, and multilingual support to promote scientific literacy among students and teachers.
AR-Enriched Experiments and Simulations
A mobile app featuring AR-based experiments and simulations to enhance science education. It aims to engage students with interactive simulations and provide teachers with accessible experiments for distance learning. The outcomes include a tested app and updated augmented reality (AR) content.
Web-based Active Learning System (WALS)
The Web-based Active Learning System (WALS) enhances student learning through AR-based simulations, interactive content, and real-time feedback. It supports both students’ self-regulation and teachers’ digital skills, providing free resources for widespread educational impact.
